Red Line 75W85 GL-5 synthetic gear oil, recommended applications include differential oil, final drive oil, gear oil and transfer case fluid. Contains additional friction modifiers for suitability with clutch-type limited slip differentials and for most LSDs, no additional friction modifiers are required.
This product is not designed for use in most manual transmissions or transaxles with synchronizers, as extreme slipperiness may cause shifting problems, it is however very popular in many Formula racing transaxles, including the Hewland LD-200 and FTR sequential boxes.
It is also popular for use in many late model BMW, Mini, Dodge, Ford, GM, Jeep, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Ram, Toyota vehicles requiring oil that meets API GL-5, MT-1, MIL-L2105E or SAE J2360 specifications.
