Racetech F1 angle mounted rearview mirrors, lightweight, universal, supplied with an adjustable, centrally mounted, angled stem with an adjustable swivel base for mounting on vehicle wings, doors or body sides. These non-handed stems have proved very popular with club level chassis manufacturers in recent years as a single mirror carried as a spare.
The reasoning behind this popularity is that they can be fitted to either side of the vehicle as required. Previously these mirrors were used in Formula 1 in the 1980's by several of the top constructors, with the fixed mount offering greater reliability.
Available with a flat or convex mirror glass for a wider angle of vision, 115mm x 50mm mirror glass, housed in an an aerodynamic, virtually indestructable mirror housing. Choice of smooth black or white moulded finishes, can be painted with an appropriate finish, with an overall weight of approximately 99 grams.
For those looking for greater rigidity and reliability, we suggest the fixed mount option, with straight stem versions ideal for sports cars also available.
